The Seeker

For a number of reasons, Staple had to leave the colony and live alone. She is a talented seeker, but she is young, inexperienced and reckless, so she ends up being seen more often than would be recommended for a little mouse. If you'll see her, please be kind. She is well behaved, and has very little needs after all.

This time I wanted to draw a small size character, somewere between Mrs Brisby and Arrietty the Borrower, and at the same time I wanted to try a different shading technique. In the end I'm very satisfied with this cute little mouse (I was born in the year of the rat afer all). The background is taken from a real photo.
